Clear answers for patients, caregivers, and reviewers who need to understand what the service does and does not do.
Is RxEra Prescription Support a pharmacy?
No. RxEra Prescription Support is not a pharmacy and does not dispense medications. Pharmacies remain responsible for prescription review, dispensing, counseling, insurance processing, and final refill status.
Does RxEra Prescription Support prescribe medications or give medical advice?
No. RxEra Prescription Support does not prescribe, diagnose, change therapy, or provide clinical advice. Prescription and treatment decisions remain between the patient, prescriber, and pharmacy.
How does RxEra Prescription Support work with my pharmacy?
When you authorize refill help, RxEra Prescription Support contacts your chosen pharmacy using the available contact method, requests eligible routine refills on your behalf, and follows up for updates when appropriate. Your pharmacy remains responsible for final refill status, counseling, dispensing, and insurance processing.
How does RxEra Prescription Support help patients?
With the right medication profile setup, patients and authorized caregivers can have RxEra Prescription Support track refill timing, request eligible routine refills, help with renewal requests when refills run out, and send service-related updates when available. Sensitive refill information uses an approved secure channel; patients may separately opt in to SMS. General non-sensitive administrative notices may be sent by email. Patients can also choose reminder-only support if they want to decide which medications RxEra should request.
Can a patient opt out of text messages?
Yes. Patients can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. They can request help by replying HELP. Message and data rates may apply.
Does RxEra Prescription Support share personal information for marketing?
No. RxEra Prescription Support does not sell, rent, trade, disclose, or share personal information, mobile numbers, or SMS consent information for marketing or promotional purposes.
What happens if there are no refills left or the prescription is expired?
If your pharmacy says there are no refills left or your prescription is expired, RxEra Prescription Support will ask the pharmacy to send a request to your doctor for a new prescription or refill authorization. We will notify you through an approved secure channel—or by text if you separately opted in—that the request was sent through the pharmacy, then follow up until there is an update. RxEra Prescription Support does not authorize refills, prescribe medications, make clinical decisions, or guarantee prescriber approval.
Is RxEra Prescription Support for urgent medical issues?
No. RxEra Prescription Support is for routine refill support only. For emergencies or urgent medical needs, patients should call 911 or contact a healthcare professional directly.
